1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ReferKaro ("Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the service.

2. About ReferKaro

ReferKaro is a job referral marketplace that connects job seekers ("Seekers") with employees at companies ("Referrers"). Our platform facilitates introductions and referrals — we do not guarantee employment, interview calls, or job offers. The outcome of a referral depends entirely on the hiring company's internal process.

3. User Accounts

• •You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• •You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• •You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
• •One person may not maintain more than one active account.
• •You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Referrer Responsibilities

If you register as a Referrer, you agree that:

• •You are currently employed at the company you have listed on your profile.
• •You will only refer candidates who are genuinely qualified for the role.
• •You will not accept referral requests that you have no intention of fulfilling.
• •You understand that your employer's referral policies take precedence.
• •You will not charge money from Seekers in exchange for referrals outside of this platform.
• •You will not share Seeker's personal data (resume, contact info) with third parties.

5. Seeker Responsibilities

If you register as a Seeker, you agree that:

• •The resume and information you submit is accurate and belongs to you.
• •You will not misrepresent your qualifications, skills, or experience.
• •You will not send spam or abusive referral requests to Referrers.
• •You understand that a referral does not guarantee an interview or job offer.
• •You will not share your referral request outside of ReferKaro without the Referrer's consent.

6. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• ✕Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Indian law.
• ✕Impersonate another person or entity.
• ✕Post false or misleading job listings.
• ✕Solicit money from Seekers or Referrers outside of the platform's official payment system.
• ✕Attempt to hack, scrape, or reverse-engineer the platform.
• ✕Send unsolicited bulk messages or spam.

7. Content & Intellectual Property

All content on ReferKaro — including design, code, text, and logos — is owned by ReferKaro and protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you submit (resumes, messages), but grant ReferKaro a non-exclusive license to use it for operating the platform.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

ReferKaro is provided "as is" without any warranties. We do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that referrals will result in employment. We are not responsible for the actions, conduct, or decisions of any Referrer or hiring company.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReferKaro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunity or loss of data.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity — without prior notice or liability.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of ReferKaro after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
